These oak cooking pieces are sized to our specifications: 8-11" long and 2-4" thick with the bark left on when possible. It has all been kiln dried, eliminating any pests and bringing it to to 15% moisture, approximately what you'd find in naturally seasoned wood. Oak burns very hot, so use it sparingly when you can.
